Short Bio
I am a postdoc researcher at Prof. Silvia Budday’s lab and working on large deformation mechanical characterization and computational modeling of bioprinted constructs to demonstrate the effect of different parameters, e.g., extrusion process and print pattern, on the final product. I was accepted at the Ph.D. level based on talented quota, and during my Ph.D., I received a research fellowship from Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), North Carolina, USA, and a scholarship for Ph.D. students as a visiting researcher from the Iran Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT). So, I had a chance to perform my thesis’s 3D (bio)printing studies in Prof. Sang Jin Lee’s lab at WFIRM. I like integrating cutting-edge bioprinting techniques, mechanical design, and modeling to fabricate tissue engineering constructs with desired functionality. I am strongly motivated to contribute to scientific problems solving, especially in the computational modeling of 3D bioprinting.
